Innovations for the Future
New challenges were always been a strength of the company. 15 years ago we expanded our product line with bobbin lace. Today our special machines manufacture implants for surgery. 10 years ago our ribbon department originated. In the attached pressroom can now be printed daily up to 30.000 meters band. For 8 years we are finishing with a patented and licensed method stable bands to stretch articles. Currently, we are with this product market leader in Europe. Since 2008, we finished pressure and woven labels. Each new request also gives us the chance to prove our skills.
100 years Gebrüder Stuhr
In the 1000 sq. ft. weave room is a real piece of weaving tradition. The shuttle looms from the late 60s are some of the last of the productive machine of its kind in Europe. It is unfortunately not the creation machine, as such treasures would now stand in the museum. We are committed to manufacture on these looms most exclusive tapes for home textile and folklore, as well as special emblems and badges for the German Army and the police.
Technique on the amount of time
More than a third of our 100 production machines are jacquard needle looms, they have up to 14 weaving heads. Since 2008 rapier label machine are part of our machinery, their weaving width is max. 4 x 250 mm. They all belong to the last generation of the Swiss global market leader. Here we can make tissue of 3 mm to 250 mm. For 3-layer production are herewith more than enough capacity available.
